Outline of Lecture Course This class is conducted in Japanese in interactive way. In this course, students will discuss the social issues of Japan, and express their own opinion. This class is targeted to student’s whose Japanese proficiency level is at least intermediate.
Course Objectives The objective of this class is to develop all four basic skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. Through the course, students are expected to express thier own opinion in Japanese.

Course Materials/Supplementation Course materials will be handed out in the class.
Assessment Attendance and Class participation (40%)
Assignments (60%)

It will be refereed as "absent" if student was absent more than five lectures a period.
Prerequisites none
Other Notes The syllabus may be adjusted due to the students’ Japanese proficiency level and their interests.
Students are required to prepare and review each lesson, especially the vocabulary of the reading material. In addition to the assignments a lecturer gives, they are expected to carry out work on their own.
