Outline of Lecture Course

This class is conducted in Japanese in an interactive way. This class will provide the opportunity to read and discuss basic issues in contemporary Japanese society. Students will acquire the basic knowledge of Japanese Civics, and will be able to give an academic presentation in Japanese.

Course Objectives The purpose of this course is to make students being able to express their knowledge and ideas in Japanese language. Students will learn academic Japanese through the topics of this course.
Textbooks Japanese History, Politics and Society in Simple Japanese for Beginners.
