講義概要 This course covers issues in the first phase of a thesis project:

* Topic selection
* Basic research strategies
* Bibliography development
* Literature review
* Proper use of footnotes
* Table of Contents
* Composition: drafting the Introduction
到達目標 Each participant is expected to demonstrate their academic skills in a survey paper in a specified format by the end of the semester.

教科書 The Writing Guide published by the Law Faculty.

参考書・参考資料 Materials will be distributed as required via the Syllabus System.
成績評価方法 Assessment will be based on the following:

* Class attendance and participation
* Mid-term based on Quizzer feedback questions
* Final exam based on Quizzer feedback questions
* Literature review submitted at the end of the course

How to work with the resouce you found.
How to analyze the resource.
How to organize your research.
